My friend told me that i could some how get a movie on my phone..... is that true? if so how?

Movies on your phone have been the lure of cell phone providers since the 90's.
The fact of the matter is that the cellphone infrastructure (the towers) are already too overcrowded to even support the number of subscribers that they have, just for phone calls.
Only a few phones can actually do live TV or movies. And they are very expensive and the thrill wears off after a day or so.
If you know who your provider is, stop by the store and see what they have to offer.
I guarantee you that they will have one word for you....UPGRADE.
My advise: be happy with text messaging.
It's way cooler and less expensive.

Sort of. It is a short film. Sorry, but technology has not - YET! - figured out to get enough memory on a phone to make something as long as an entire film. The only way they can do it, today, is transmit a movie to your phone, at substantual cost to you in your monthly bill. But the movie is not really in your phone. It is a radio message to your phone.

Yes, certain phones. But think about it? How much of a loser can you be to want to look at a full movie on a little-azz screen?

Actually Nextel and Comcast are currently testing on demand movies on cell phones. They will be out late spring or summer 2007.

buy a nokia n series mobile and u can experience great movies on ur phone if u have real one player, a software and a nice memmory card
