I have always voted but no more. Every year it is the same faces, the same lies and the same lack of honesty. By voting for the lesser of two evils we are all doing a great disservice to the nation. The only way things will change if there is a viable intelligent third party.

I'm in Virginia, and the Webb/Allen campaign has gotten pretty brutal. What really upsets me is the fact that a dozen or so seats being somewhat contested is considered big news. In a perfect world, every election would be a tooth and nail fight. Surely there is always someone, somewhere in a state almost equally worthy of filling the incumbant's spot?

I live in Michigan and we have a choice between a governess who has let the state lose at least 25% of its high paying manufactoring jobs and one of the co-founders of Amway. There is something about having an Amway dude in office that gives me the creeps above and beyond the usual creeps I get with politicians.

It seems that almost everybody in politics is greedy, corrupt, and self-serving. And maybe a drunk and/or a pervert, as well.
We sure don't have much to chose from, do we.
Years ago, I did the stupid thing and always pulled the party lever.
Have not made that mistake for a while.

here in Wyoming there is only 1 senate seat and a (professional politician) (rep) has held it for 8 years she is running nothing but smear campaigns against her democratic opponent who is running ads based on the changes he would like to see/make in the current government. and yes she needs to go, we voted term limits on her last election and she went to the grand jury and petitioned to have our vote canceled (so much for less government and votes counting) here is hoping the troll gets her due and joins the unemployment line this election!

Absolutely. Here in Cali, we have two Senate candidates who can possibly win: Dianne Feinstein, or Richard "Dick" Mountjoy. I despise the hypocritical bit** Feinstein, but I won't vote for someone with a name, and record, like Dick Mountjoy.

I agree with you.
It seems that American politics has been attracting MORE than it's share of crooks, sexual deviants, alcoholics, users of illegal drugs, and America-haters.
I'm sick of it all.
