I love Indian food, Indian philosophy, practice Hinduism, enjoy Indian art, music and culture but cannot find an Indian woman who will date me. And I happen to think they are stunning. I am an attractive artist and this makes no sense to me.

haha, i'm indian. for some reason, i like indian guys because they know about my culture. but you.. they should like you because you know about the culture. just keep searching, and you'll be sure to find someone. good luck :-)

Some Indian women do date white guys. I was in graduate school with a couple where the guy was white & his significant other was an Indian woman.
The problem is that you are going out looking for Indian women. You have to meet & get to know the person as an individual.

Traditionally, Indian women are under a great deal of pressure from their family to marry the right man. Whether they choose their spouse or their family does, it is unlikley that it will be generally accepted to marry out of their caste, race, and especially religion. On the other hand, you shouldn't base your judgement on Indian women on a few rejections, I'm sure that it is very possible to find an Indian woman who is liberal enough to date outside her normal marriage pattern, you just have to keep trying.

Most indians like responsible guys. They think that indian guys are like that (generalization). So they prefer to go for them. People from other cultures tend to think that whites are untrustworthy and uncultured. So they should be avoided when it comes to dating.

Some of them do; the Americanized ones. The others are just really true to their race and culture. Doesn't matter how good looking you are.

India is a 3rd world country with archaic values. They probably would disown there "horrible" daughters for marrying out of the race. So until some magic genie brings them into the current century don't bet the farm on marrying an Indian woman.
