I have several fish tanks and was wondering about the ick medication.?

In my salt water tank i have a panther groper and it has what looks like sores on the sides and is breathing heavy,so i was wondering if the ick med.will work,if not does any1 know what will work? Thanks.

to identify what exactly your fish has, then ask advice at your local pet store on the best medication to use, hope your fish is swimming happy again soon :)
