Wow...Hat's off to you for knowing already! (before Halloween) I'm hoping for "up". Mmmm, maybe the same, now that I think back I actually spent too much last year, which was really unnecessary. A tip too parents....A few things they REALLY want is soooo much easier and well received then a bunch of stuff they "kind of want"! Oh, and skip EVERYTHING YOU THINK they would want. And never underestamate the power of the box! (for the younger ones)

I've never had a budget I just suck it up and spend whatever it cost to get the gifts that my family really wants. To me that's better than buying a gift that's cheaper and they don't like or use, then that's a waste of money. Me and my husband however do have a limit so we don't buy eachother something better than the other and make eachother feel bad so we set our limit of $1,000 on eachother, last year we spent a lil over $3,000 for our son.

i dont really have a budget cause its my dad's money, so all i have to do is ask him or some money. but its probably like 100 dollars because i only need to buy 4 presents

it looks like i'm gonna have to spend more, kids are getting older and want more expensive things like game cubes and x-box :(
