My favourite Christmas candy is Ribbon Candy. We celebrated our first Christmas in Canada in the late 50's and this was the first candy we were given by the neighbours. It brings back such lovely memories of our first Christmas in a free country, where we had enough to eat and even had more than one present under the tree. I always buy Ribbon Candy every Christmas and place it in a candy dish, it never gets eaten, but it is nice to have as a reminder.

Homemade fudge

I love Ghirardelli's peppermint bark. When I was younger, the adults would always give out a box of Frangos from the local dept to the kids in the family.

And while they aren't specifically Christmas-y, I love those chocolate oranges that are orange or raspberry flavored.

My Dad makes the worlds best anise cookies at christmas time. Those and my Grandma's peanut butter blossoms make the holiday. though I do like to top it off with a couple of chocolate-covered cherries.

Terry's Chocolate Oranges are continually solid. there is also those darkish chocolate adorns i have had some situations. We had them on the tree at the same time as i replaced right into a baby, and that i continually remembered the flavor. at the same time as i replaced into plenty older, my buddy's Oma (German for grandmother) despatched some chocolate adorns over. that they had a similar foil wrapping I remembered, and that they had a similar style. If she replaced into nevertheless alive (she died in 2004) i might want to deliver her some money and function her deliver me some packs of them. BQ: i wager they forgot the section the position Jesus suggested "enable he who's without sin solid the first stone"

Not sure about "candy" but pumpkin roll and the other tart-thing that looked like a folded saltine with powdered-sugar-covered jelly.

Buckeyes. I know that they aren't very Christmas-ish, but we always made them for Christmas, and besides, whats better than chocolate and peanut butter together?
