We found some in FL that must have been over twenty feet tall,and larger then a baseball bat at the base, No Lie! I also found some that were over twelve feet tall and we couldn't pull them up, because the roots were so strong. We had to cut them down with an ax. I grew one years ago that was about eight foot tall and looked like a Christmas tree, covered with large buds, that smelled like a skunk.

Don't know about the largest, but I remember coming home after school one day and my Dad's pickup bed was overflowing with plants. He found them growing in one of his fields between rows of corn. He didn't have a clue what they were; he just thought it was a strange kind of weed. I told him he was right about that!
