Pain on the right side of the abdomen somewhat right in the middle on the ride but moves a little down farther. Sometimes the pain goes to the bellybutton region either way it's been hurting like this all of a sudden for several hours. I've been nauseated for about a week now and I have phenegran gel so I don't know if that has anything to do with this. I vomited twice Monday and had diarrhea Wednesday so I don't know But it hurts really bad.

No fever as of now and I've only had one bowel movement today and was pretty much normal.

I am a nurse-any unusual pain should not be second quessed. Get to an Doctor asap-There they can take your urine and know if you have a kidney stone or a bad urinary tract infection
Blood work can be done to check for Gallbladder (which can give you awful nausea) and appendix--all are treatable issues.
Could you be pregnant? Could it be a bowel problem? Only the doc can tell you the answers you need to know-don't wait please....

Before attending school I was a medic in the army.

I am concerned that your pain is localized, and in the LR quad. With a normal bowel movement it sounds like you are not impacted. I'm also glad to hear you don't have a fever currently.

I strongly suggest you visit your local emergency immediately. At worse you may find you don't have a serious condition. At best you may get definitive care for a true emergency.

Best of luck to you.

Have you ever had a problem with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. If the pain is that bad it could also be appendix that is on the right side and if this is the case you should probably have that checked out immediately esp if you are vomiting.

I don't think it is your appendix, because if it was the pain usually becomes severe and you will end up in the hospital in a couple of days, but you should go in to Dr. and have blood work run to be sure, and see you Gyno. Once a year is suggested, and make sure not to self treat something you are not positive what it is. Even though the meds are OTC they are strong and can be dangerous, if used incorrectly.

I have had pain like that in the past, and I waited to go to the doctors and I wound up in the hospital with gall stones... You need to go to the ER and let them check you out, not ask for medical advise on the internet where people can say anything to you.....

I wouldn't seek medical advice on Yahoo! Answers. Suck it up and go to the doctor.
