Super Metroid for SNES, there is a door that i can't get through.?

ok here's the deal, just like classic metroid there is a climb for your life... with a timer in the final moments- Thats when i found this door...

Its at the very top of the climb on the right hand side, you can use the xray to see it. but behind the hole is a door that is grey, I have tried every time and situation to open it even wait till the last second.

Can anyone HELP??

Ok here's the deal that door, can not be opened from the outside, but there is another door that leads in about a third of the way up, from the bottom. look long enough you'll find it, it's orange thats all i remember.

Try it and i know that you will pick my answer as best, by the way there are only green missles in there .... and i suggest you wait till you get the little arm swinging thing.. cause you'll need it to get out.

I don't think it can be opened. Are you sure it's not available earlier in the game? It might be just an ordinary door that gets disabled for the final evacuation sequence.
