I love this look, but I think it is too heavy for during the day.

To make your eyes look larger, wear white eyeliner on the lower inner rims of your eyes. It creates the illusion of a bigger eye, and makes it look brighter especially when you're tired.

The key to larger looking eyes is always an individual thing but the general answer is to combine using a slightly darker shadow towards the outer corner of the eye and a highlighter (this can be a light cover stick or foundation) in the inner corner of the eye area. This will give the apperance of the eyes being furthur apart also and done with soft earthtones is a very natural daytime look. Next groom the brows giving them the same darkness as the hair color. Defined eyebrows are the frame for the eyes and will make them look larger when shaped and colored well. The use of eyeliner is a big help also. Try a thin line under the lower lashes but be careful not to go all the way to the inner eye. On the top lid let the liner get a little wider and instead of following the line of the lid down to the outer corner let it go slightly above. The liner can be softened by smudging lightly for a more natural daytime look. Finish with mascara. Try a darker color for the top lashes and a lighter one for the lower lashes (black and brown/black for example) Evening is the time to add lash enhancements, strong liner and brows and dramatic color. Your instinct is correct regarding the picture, most business people would think this look was a litle over done for the work day. Good Luck!

Use an expensive brand's "eye hydralateur" like Chanel of Lancome. They help lift the areas of skin around your eyes in a hydration firming process, that really DO make your eyes bigger rather than making them appear to look so.

If you want instant results, however, use thickening mascara on your upper and lower lashes and try curling your eyelashes upwards. The fanning of the eyelashes will create the illusion of bigger eyes.

Actually, if you really love your look right now, you can still stick with it. As long as you wipe off your eye makeup really carefully with petroleum jelly to remove all the harmful substances it should be okay for your skin.

Now...before I conclude, I'll just share with you a particular secret I've learned from watching a really short documentary on television during London's annual fashion week.

A prestigious make-up artist was mentioning a way to make eyes appear brighter and more sparkling and more alive...and also therefore bigger.

Tint lightly with silver eye makeup the INNER corners of your eyes. This is a little trick used for the supermodels in London that creates an minute light refraction that, even when photographed, gives a grander vivacity and size to eyes.

Hope all this helps. =)

A Little bit of wight eyeliner on the inside of the eye, all so lighter colored eye shadow helps allot, like a light shimmer above the crease and a Little underneath makes the eye look awake larger and sexy but good for the day fill in with any lighter shad of shadow

Ive heard that you can line your eyes with a little bit of white eyeliner, and that will make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Or you could just find a mascara that is specially for making your eyelashes longer. You should try a mascara from maybelline, it defintely works really well for me, without having to put on too many coats.

I had a similar subject till i went to a makeup artist who taught me plenty approximately makeup. What i grew to become into advised to do grew to become into basically placed on the eyeliner on the precise lid and it won't basically make your eyelashes look thicker yet make your eyes honestly look a average bit bigger. attempt to get an eyeliner that has a similar colour as your mascara. To make it look organic save the lining very close to to the lash line and dont make it too thick the two. For greater makeup suggestion attempt out a pair of video's from my 2 popular makeup people on youtube. They the two do amazingly stable makeup and the two have MANY suggestion for you. From them i found out lots! one among them does greater organic seems and the different does some greater amazing colored formidable seems wish you like em.

to make ur eyes appear bigger nothing works better than white eyeliner. all u have to do it apply whit eyeliner on the inner part of ur lower eyelid. that gives the impression of bigger eyes. and wear light or neutral eyeshadows. dark eyeshadows usually make the eyes look smaller than they r.
as for the look of scarlet johanson. she has done the baby doll eyes. where u apply a thin line of black liquid eyeliner and extend it towards the edge. and u apply some black pencil eyeliner on the lower eyelid.and u r right it heavy for daytime so u can wear it at night.

Mascara a shade darker than your natural lashes, plus lighter colored shadow above and an little below the eye, blended into your foundation will give you a larger, more open-eyed look, thus making your eyes seem larger.

for day time wear, I use white eye shadow lightly, blend well and make sure you get into the corner of your eye near your nose. When applying mascara dust lightly between applications to give a full look also apply eye liner right on the base of lashes and lightly smudge

For the minimal, yet gorgeous look, use mascara on the BOTTOM lashes, and using eyeliner, outline the top of your eye all the way to the corners.
