Once when I was a bit younger I was renting an apartment from this 90yr. old lady. 3 times a week she would climb 2 flights of stairs to come sit with me out on my porch. We would sit and chat and she would gaze out at this building right next door. I asked her why she like to come up and sit on the porch with me and stare at this building? She said that when she was a little girl there was a big beautiful field where that building sat and her sister and herself would run through the field and pick flowers and laugh and have a good time all day long. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said to me that she was still that little girl inside her heart and mind but she was stuck in an old worn out tired body now and could only remember running through the field, sitting out on that porch gave her that feeling that she loved so much, it wasn't as much fun as running but she still could use her heart and mind to feel the same sensations that she did when she was young...................that gave me a whole different outlook on aging.......and has helped me to stay immature even at 50........hang on to that child inside of you cuz the body ages much faster and slows you down a bit, but your mind and heart will never let you forget that we all just kids inside.

No doubt it came out today when my dad and I took my grandparents grocery shopping and we we're playing football with her head of lettuce through the store. It's great having a dad that's 62 and acts like he's 19 it helps to keep me young at the same time. I think grammy ended up getting a new head of lettuce after we we're done with it, lol!

You're not supposed to know about that? Who squealed?!
I let him out to play boogie-woogie on the piano. But I won't let him have the Radio-Flyer 52" sled or a trip to that 1.2 mile long roller-coaster they built in Indiana.
