oh gawd, what sort of universe do you live in?
This is trashy and cheep.
Get yourself out of the middle. This is NOT your problem.Your sister has made a horrible choice and SHE will pay the consquences. You have had your say with your sister. Back away and ignore her. If she is in deep trouble....it is NOT Your problem.
About telling your friend. If you haven't done it yet, there must be a reason for it. I am not sure what I woud do if it were my friend. I think I might of told already. Boy, this is a mess. I think maybe she needs to be told then you tell her you have to back away and let time take it's course.
Don't keep yourself in the middle of this. Let the people who have made the mess. There is a good chance you might loose your friend. There isn't much you can do about it.
This man and your sister have betrayed a marriage vow between your friend and her husband.
Good luck

You were right to confront your sister. Your mother should be ashamed of herself for condoning your sister's bad behavior. If he has kids and she is pregnant his kids will never respect her. She will always be the woman who broke up his marriage. You might want to tell your friend what is going on. However, just leave a note with pictures. Don't let her know they came from you.

You need to give your sister an ultimatum. Break up or you will tell. It is not fair for her to put you in this situation, nor is it right for her to be cheating with a married man, let alone your best friends 40 year old hubby.

UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE. EITHER WAY YOUR BEST FRIEND WILL RESENT YOU. SHE WILL RESENT YOU FOR TELLING HER (PEOPLE ALWAYS KILL THE MESSENGER) AND WHEN SHE DOES FIND OUT SHE WILL BE ANGRY WITH YOU FOR NOT TELLING HER. EITHER WAY YOU ARE IN A CATCH 22. YOU DID CONFRONT YOUR SISTER, SO YOU DID YOUR GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY. THEY ARE GROWN AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT EITHER WAY. IF YOUR SISTER IS PREGNANT, SHE HAS PUT HERSELF AND HER CHILD IN A HORRIBLE SITUATION. MY HUSBAND HAD A CHILD OUTSIDE OF OUR MARRIAGE AND THE MAIN PERSON THAT SUFFERED WAS THE CHILD. HIS GUILT AND OBGLIGATION TO ME KEPT HIM FROM BEING IN HER LIFE, AND SUBSEQUENTLY SHE HAD TO LIVE WITHOUT A FATHER UNTIL WE SEPERATED. NOW SHE IS 7 YRS OLD, ONLY 9 MONTHS YOUNGER THAN OUR DAUGHTER. THEY OF COURSE CAN NOT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP, AND PROBABLY WILL NOT HAVE ONE UNTIL THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE ONE FOR THEMSELVES.
YOUR MOM SHOULD BE USPET WITH YOUR SISTER, NOT YOU. HER ATTITUDE IS THE REASON WOMEN LIKE YOUR SISTER THINK IT IS OKAY TO CONTINUE RELATIONSHIPS LIKE THAT.
I WOULD JUST TRY TO BE THERE FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND, SHE WILL NEED A LOT OF SUPPORT TO GET THROUGH THAT KIND OF PAIN AND BETRAYAL. IF IT WERE MY BEST FRIEND, I WOULD HAVE TO TELL HER. ONLY BECAUSE WE HAVE THE TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP THAT WE ARE HONEST FIRST....AND HURT FEELINGS PLAY SECOND TO ONE ANOTHER'S BEST INTERESTS. IT HAS CAUSED SOME RIFTS OVER THE YEARS, BUT I TRUST HER WITH MY LIFE, AND SHE TRUSTS ME. WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL, AND I AM GOING ON 31 YRS OLD. SO HONESTY HAS WORKED FOR US, BECAUSE IN THE END, YOU NEED AT LEAST ONE PERSON IN THIS WORLD THAT YOU CAN TRUST WITH YOUR SECRETS, FEARS, AND DEEPEST THOUGHTS AND KNOW THEY WILL JUST LISTEN AND CRY WITH YOU WITHOUT JUDGEMENT.

Withholding this information from your best friend will destroy the relationship. You're not doing anybody any favors by holding onto it. Talk to your friend. Tell her you just found out, and you're angry at your sister about it. You would want your friend to treat you the same way.

Tell your friend her husband is cheating, he is having mid life crisis ( which being a guy, I think is a bunch of BS) and has taken advantage of your sister. This doesn't excuse her actions, she knew he was married.
Cheating and affairs destroy families and friendships.

eeeewwwwww.
you are in the middle because you put yourself in the middle.
but then, do you really think your best friend doesn't know her husband is screwing around? women always know. the ones that say they didn't ever know were fooling themselves.
why don't you forget your friend/sister problem and go take a class on grammer and propper punctuation.
