I have my own band that sounds like a mixture of Lucuna Coil, Evanesence, and Kittie. We havn't put out a CD yet but we're working on it. Why do some people think that girls can't rock?

G- gentlemen
O- only
L- ladies
F- forbidden

Don't listen to those that would steal your thunder. They're just jealous. I should know - I'm a rock singer. I am a man. If you are on stage tonight and I'm not, sure I'm jealous.....
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't. Just turn out meaningful music. Not some inane crap, please.....

Probably because they're simple-minded. Lately, I've been into some female-fronted bands (such as Otep, Lacuna Coil and Evanescence). And, I think that they rock just as much (if not MORE) than the boys do! Rock music is rock music, regardless of the person singing it! Rock on girl! And let me know when your CD comes out!

Because they never heard of the Runaways, Women of Sodom, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and Lita Ford. The Von Bondies's lead guitar and base are both played by women. Put a little Valeze, The Soviettes and The Start in your diet.

That lifestyle is called ,Sex, drugs and rock n roll.
That's a reason why most guys get into rock anyway. The fame and money thing come afterwards.
Rock chicks and other non-rock chicks dont embrace sex the way male Rockstars do. Unless some lesbians or pornstars/strippers who are always extroverts anyway.

Well, it comes down to the basic fact that all classic rock is dude-based. Minus Heart and Janis Joplin. Girls come off as too sensitive and with rock, especially metal, one needs to be a "bad ***". I think it's hot when girls try to rock, especially if they're cute to begin with, but a lot of times it comes off as if they're trying too hard.

don't worry about them.

once that barrier is broken, they'll pretend they were fans all along.

There's an old axiom that a vocal 20 percent tends to be perceived as 80 percent. You have to assume that at least 60 percent of any large population just go along with the prevailing wind --- so ignore them.

Because most girls don't rock. But I think you women can rock hard. Kittie's Brackish is a good song.

I've never heard anyone say that. When I think of "girl" bands, I think of MCR,Hinder,Simple Plan. They are pointless. Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. I need no hate mail. Thank you.
