this? Due to the fact that he kept accusing me even after I told him numerous times that I did not smoke inside, it obviously shows that he does not believe me and these accusations bother me because I am a very honest person. What should I do?

If you are serious about it...then be serious about it.
Ask him for a meeting.
Tell him how you see that theres confidence in jeopardy and how it would ruin the basis of the employment and ask him to fire you if he doesnt trust you on this.
I suppose that will either make him believe you or letting you go..both ways should be acceptable to you.

Quit smoking. Even though you didn't smoke inside, the smoke clings to your hair and clothing and it very obvious, particularly to non-smokers. If you stand just outside the door and smoke, it is still very smoking and smelly. He's the boss. His word has more weight than yours. Just don't smoke at work. If you don't stink of cigarette smoke, then you can't be accused of smoking.

Obviously don't smoke inside
Otherwise don't do anything new.
His accusations if they continue could be construed as a hostile work environment. Get a small tape recorder and keep it on you.

what you need to do is if he just keeps it up just take him to the side for a second and just tell him that you dont like being accused of somthing i didnt do. him actually naggin and accusin you like that is considered harrasment in a work facility just a little side note for you. communication is a big issue or key in this so just beaware of some options you can take withtout losing your job or nothing well good luck
