Does anyone know what the weather should be like in Amsterdam in the middle & end of the month of November? Thanks in advance. Also, what kind of "warm or wet weather" clothes would you recommend we take?

In my research, I ran across the page linked below. It's has the historic weather conditions for the past ten years, so you can see what the weather was like just about anywhere on any day. Plus, it will give you a forecast for days in the future, if you select days for next month.

In November it's usually cold, rainy and windy over here. I wouldn't recommend this month for a visit to my country. Although it's okay if you plan to do a lot of indoor activities like museum visits, in that case you'll be fine!

I'd recommend you take an umbrella!! more than anything else.
A windproof coat would be a good thing too. And waterproof shoes.

Incidentally, in Holland it's not that acceptable to wear tennis shoes all over the place as I have often seen Americans do. It's okay, you won't be refused entry (only in some clubs and restaurants) but when you wear these huge, white tennis shoes with jeans with tapered legs, you will stand out like a tourist ;-)

Last year I went to Amsterdam in early November and it was cold. Just bring a warm jacket. Have fun you are going to love it.
