Last year, a young woman my age was killed in a horrible accident in my neighbourhood. A few days later, I had a dream in which I looked in the mirror but I was her, and I was staring straight into her (my) blue eyes!! (I don't have blue eyes) I never dream of looking in the mirror. It was really freaky. I'm not sure if I believe in spirits or ghosts, but to this day I think about that dream and wonder if there was something more to it. Another idea is that I saw some of myself in her, ie: she went to the same University, was the same age, had a little brother too etc.. and so this is why I dreamed of her. Anyway, it stuck with me. Anyone dream that they were someone else (esp. who died) before?

I've had dreams of looking in the mirror and in them I was a man.Very disturbing.It was like I was inside his head and seeing through his eyes.I couldn't control anything in the dream,like I was just taken along for the ride.I'd wake up when he passed by a mirror and I saw his face.Some seemed of an past life significance.But one that desturbed me for years seemed to be of someone who was very much aware of me,and I can still remember him laughing.I haven't dreamt it in years and never did figure out why I dreamt it.I can't say it is as in equal intensity as your's is...but it would be interesting to check out.Possible ghost communication or like you mentioned,her simularities to you made even more of an impression on you than you realised.Perhaps there's something to both theories.

Crazy thing... I just had this type of dream yesterday. I had dream that I looked into the mirror and I saw my father instead of my own reflection. I saw this several of times until I slowly started to turn back into myself... creepy!
But the worst one was when I was dreaming I was driving and I looked at the rearview mirror. I saw my reflection, but it was me dead!!!

yes I have had dreams like that. One time I looked in the mirror in a dream and I was a man, that one bothered me for days!
