At Genesis 2:1,2 "Thus the heavens and the earth came to all their army came to their completion. And by the seventh day God came to the completion of his work that he had made, and he proceed to rest on the seventh day from all his work that he had made." So, Jehovah God is only resting from creating things. Also, if you think God made the world literally in six 24 hour days, then you should visit this website for accurate information about it. http://www.watchtower.org/library/g/2002/6/8/article_01.htm

God may have rested on the seventh day after creating the world, however He is on call 24/7 to those who call on him through Jesus Christ, our intercessor and Savior. As for bothering him on his day off, if you are referring to Sundays, we're not bothering Him, we are worshipping Him with other believers. Praising Him, thanking Him, loving Him for the many blessings He brings in good times and the comfort He gives in hard times. God is awesome!

If God took a day off then the world would collapse. God does not exist in time or space like humans do. Time is a creation of men, not God.

Well put. He said to take that day and remember Him by it. We're only doing what He said and besides, He's all done creating the world. That's why we can talk to Him when we want.

What, just because he took one "day off," he never works on Sundays anymore? Besides, who are you saying is bothering Him? If you were God, wouldn't you love it when people came together, sacrificing Sunday mornings, just so they could worship you? My quesion is, why dont we "bother" Him everyday?

I don't recall God telling anyone how he may or may not have created the world.
