As a believer, I think believing in Juses Christ and being the best person we can are the most important things in life. I set the similar standard for my relationship. Sometimes, this generates conflicts, because not everybody thinks the way I think. This makes me very frustrated. I feel that it is wasting of my time to developing relationship with someone who does not think the way I think. I would lime to give up relationship with man and spent more time to build relationship with God. Sometimes, I think that God put me into this kind of situation to let me glorify Him through the difficulties. I would like to hear from you on what do you think?

Religion doesnt make the whole relationship and arent you judging? Thou shall not what>>>> You keep doing that someone else is going to take your Mister Right all because of Religion and thats why there so much anger and fighting with religion with ppl in the world because if ppl dont have the same views they arent as good and thats sad as well as ignorant

I think you are overreacting to a unbiblical thought. Glorify God through your difficulties, come on. It's O.K. to be a Christian and to act normal. You can hold true to your virtues and honor God, and still talk like a normal person. Sometimes people can be so heavenly minded that they are of no earthly good. Sister you need a life away from church as much as you need a life in church. I'm not saying you need to be worldly, just try to see your place in the world. God has a plan! Every now and again He invites us to be a part of that plan. That plan gets fulfilled and you get kudos from the King. It's not that you don't answer the call, I just think you don't hang up the phone! Then again you may be a Bible college student, you sound that way. Oh well good luck anyway.

Just because someone doesn't think the same way you do doesn't mean you shouldn't have any kind of relationship with them. Romantically, I would be cautious of who you develop a relationship with. You need to marry someone who is a Christian. God sometimes puts people in our paths that we can help or guide in their own spiritual walk, but there are others who will just bring you down with them. It might be a good idea to focus on God and ask him to show you can glorify Him through this relationship. If you don't feel like that could happen, it's probably best to break ties with the person.

Good Question. You are not to be unequally yoked not because ur going to explode or go to hell.....none of that! The reason is-its good to wait because IF u decide to marry this person, IF the who concept of ur family is not christ centered .....u will be very unhappy. Do you really want a non believer helping to raise ur kids? Think about it

Well the people who have been talking about being unequally yoked, are correct. I have done that and it makes life very hard. Don't compromise your beliefs because God will send you that man he has chosen for you.

I agree that you could be wasting time on someone who doesn't share your beliefs. The differences in your priorities and lifestyles would only be emphasized in a permanent relationship like marriage, and raising kids with someone who doesn't agree on how to go about that would be a nightmare.

Well, not to be a downer, but I don't think Christians are supposed to yoke themselves with unbelievers unless you were already married to him when you became a Christian. If that's the case you'll just have to deal with it.

Whatever, just don't burden your belief onto others that don't believe the same way.
