Because one of the freedoms that the US Constitution assures to US citizens and immigrants alike, is the freedom for each individual to practice his or her religion without interference from the government.

What is your problem witha women dressed in a way that is required by her religion. You might be thinking that they are opressed or looked down or such propaganda are telling you, read here to know the truth:

The muslims -like many others- participating in making this country the strongest in the world and you have no right to think of them in this racist way.
