well my idea of a good proposal is a guy writing a song to me taking me to a lil party thing and singing it infront of everyone and proposing infront of everyone or taking me to mcdonalds and giving me akids meal and as the toy is a ring then taking me to watch the sunset by the lake

Only do what Orlando tells you to do if you are absolutely certain she wants to marry because it really isn't good to put someone on the spot and/or risk being embarassed if she says no....do something like take an evening stroll somewhere very romantic, a pretty fountain at a park or some place glittery and romantic, get down on that knee and tell her from the heart how she makes you feel and what you wish the future could hold for the both of you. If she says yes then whip out that ring. You could have it in a box of her favorite candy, even if its gummy bears. Doing something just a hair silly is always sweet.. but don't make it too cheezy or it will be a joke. bring your camera and have someone take a picture later of you two sitting at *your* spot.

I had the same idea with Cutie77 before I read her idea. Yea, girls love surprises. My idea is you meet her in a romantic place. But not at a restaurant, cos some girls are too shy when a guy proposes to her so obviously when many people are around. An old church, beach, or beautiful park by the lake could be a great place :)

The most romantic way to propose is with total honesty, regardless of when, where or how! If I were to propose to someone I would say "I love you now and will love you as long as I have breath in my body!"

Well if it's a surprise from finish to end...
on a very special day...
before she wakes up ...leave her a note saying how much you love her.... and then send someone to give her a package...in that package give her a pretty dress with any other acessories you would like her to have then give her directions to when to be ready adn have a driver pick her up and not tell her where she is going meet her at that place when she walks in get down on a knee and pop the question...i've seen this happen before on valentine's day...it was soo nice

DOn't listen to the first guy if you love her go for it!
and by the way also flowers in the monring is sooo romantic...

For me the most romantic would be not candles and dinner, or a walk on a beach, I think for me it would be in the middle of painting the house, something maybe like playing mud football, something where your both dirty, hard working, then right in the middle of everything he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. Proposing doesn't have to be a broadway play, it just has to come from the heart

They way you propose is basically up to the amount you are able to spend. I mean if you made a million dollars a year your options are much wider of variety rather than making 100K a year you know? If your making less than a 100K I would say wait until your do more with your life unless your just so in love you really could care less about money and your dumb as a box of nails… If that’s the case it won’t matter how you do it cause she loves you anyway.

With flowers, at sunrise or sunset-sunrise would definitely be for speaks of a new beginning but sunset esp the yellow an reds in the sky speak of contentment- and one can visualize a couple sitting arms entwined and the ones head resting on the other's shoulder-content by being with each other. Flowers for they always speak of something festive, something special. But real romance comes from the heart that truly loves and the words spoken from the heart and then it does not matter where

My bro proposed like this!
His gf came home from work and he was in the front yard putting the finishing touches on a snowman. She went to go into the house and he called her over to check out the snowman. When she went over to him she noticed that he had put a red heart in the snowman's chest. While she was admiring the snowman he bent down on his knee and told her that she had his heart from the moment they met. Then he pulled the heart out of the snowman and she discovered it was a ring box with a beautiful ring inside!! I am still in awe that my big brother could be soooo romantic!

Maybe go to the first place that you had a romantic date and tell her what a difference she has made in your life...and how special she is to you and after a romantic dinner and dancing, drop to one knee and pop the question...simple but very romantic!

the main thing is to show her how much you truly love her. To do that, just let all your emotions take control(but only if you know or have a definite feeling that she will say yes). I think it is the most romantic and best feeling to know someone cares. If you show her that, it would turn out to be a positive relationship.
