I sure am not.
What's all the hype about a Tiger team who for most of the season was consistant at winning? Winning when they probably should, but losing to the other contenders.
Anyone notice the Cardinal pitching has improved dramatically in the playoffs? Or are you watching the sports media discussing how awesome the Tigers are.
I'm not saying St. Louis will win the series, but neither am I saying that Detroit is so good that the Cardinals can't pull it off.

I think the only thing disappointing about the Tigers is that with the last two World Series being sweeps by the American League team, they might have been expected to do the same thing, at least win at home. Giving up game 1 to the Cardinals puts them in a hole.

I want the cards to win but i really think that the tigers should have played a lot better. It doesnt matter the tigers are going to win it comes down to pitching and the cards pitched well tonight but carpenter is the only starter who can win another game.

I'm not! I was really apprehensive about tonight's game the way everyone kept saying how the Tigers were going to sweep us and all that crap about their pitching being so great...
The Cardinals had an awesome game, offensively and our rookie pitcher really stepped up!
Maybe the Tigers got a little cocky!

Me. And I'm a Cards fan. That was a game?! I was starting to feel almost sorry for them being beat so bad by us in their own stadium...but no. Not sorry for them.
Go CARDS!!!!!
P.S. Tigers fans in the audience looked a bit pitiful...they've been downright arrogant with how good they think their team is; tonight kind of burst their bubble and let them see it's a 'game' - not a shoe-in.

I am, I'm rooting for the AL all the way . . . they've just given up a few big hits. The pitcher needs to keep the ball down in the strike zone. On top of that, I don't think I've seen so many wild throws in game . . .

I'm a cards fan but I'm still disappointed because it wasn't that fun or great of a game, i like the white knuckle games.

They had several errors, but the Cards were also "on" tonight compared to their match-up with the Mets.
