Regularly, but I don't keep score. Holding a door for someone, a comment made to ease an awkward situation, or a timely compliment....whatever needs to be done.

I had a feeling that this older lady in our church isn't too keen on me, so I decided that I would at least try to show her that I'm really a nice gal and worth knowing, so I made some soup and muffins and brought some fresh picked apples, all wrapped up in a pretty paper bag and called her up and asked her if I could just drop something by. She wasn't very receptive until I got there and gave her all this stuff. We visited for a while and then she actually hugged me when I left. At least I tried, and with no strings attached! ( I try to do things like this once a month or so)

Does it count as a random act of kindness if you tell people that you did it?

I cleaned up trash today at the zoo that belonged to some other people. I do not know why they decided to leave their trash laying there, but I love the zoo and wanted to keep it clean for everyone.

I always check behind me when pushing open a building's door to see if there is someone else coming along. If so I always hold the door for them.

Is that too consistent to be considered random?
