I'm not talking about just feeling in your mind but when you feel that "fluttering" feeling in your stomach, its usually triggered by an anxious moment or in some ideas; love. I'm looking for a few comments but mostly facts please.

here are the facts:

Epinephrine is a naturally derived hormone that is secreted from the adrenal glands as part of the
sympathetic nervous system in mammals. In situations of high stress, epinephrine, commonly referred to
as adrenaline, is secreted in order to help the individual cope with the stress; physiologically, it allows the
individual to increase its heart rate, which in turn, increases the rate of glycogenalysis, creating more
energy and allowing the individual to run faster, jump higher, and perform better.

The increase in heart rate, due to a stressful situation, is also commonly known as "nervousness". This is the "butterfly" feeling in the stomach. The related biological term is called "fight or flight", which is what you do to make the stressful situation go away....you either deal with it (fight) or get away from it (flight).

Hope this helps.

hm.. i am not really sure. it is a possibility that it is a reaction of the stomach acids with some gas, possibly oxygen drawn in into the stomach when you take deep breaths, causing the "churning" feeling in your stomach

it has to do with an automatic reaction of neurotransmitters in your stomach. I would recommend this article.
