Ever wondered if you are just playing out your role as it has already been defined in the stars? Will I be rich or poor, single or married, how many kids will I have, what problems will I have to watch out for? How accurate is fortune telling?

Before we come to earth in our bodies, I believe we decide almost everything, there may be little things we change on the way. Yes we decide our parents, our partners, education, children. We decide them all on the other side before we come into life here.
Some fortune tellers are pretty accurate I think.

Is Life Predetermined

Is our life already predetermined before we are born? some say no.
I personally believe that fortune telling is a fun way to waste time. The stars don't dictate the future, though when there is a full moon in a rural area, expect more road kill because they see better on full moon nights and roam more.

You'd be better off playing the board game "Life" for an idea of the future than the stars. Unless you want to be a gladiator or Leo.

This is like asking, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg? There is no way of knowing. In theory, we are all born under a pre-determined chart, but we were given free will. Why is it that some are born with a star on their forehead and others are smashed on their head when they are born? Do we choose what will happen to us? Jesus Christ knew of his end, because he chose his chart. He could of changed his destiny because he knew he would be betrayed, but he CHOSE to carry it through. Though I am not nearly comparing us to the knowledge of Christ, perhaps we all know deep down what our destiny is, but sloth and ignorance take over our mission on Earth. Why did Steve Irwin state that if he died while doing his work, he would want it to be filmed or his work would of had no purpose? He knew his destiny. He was passionate and lived his life how he planned it on the other side. Maybe he did get a gut feeling that day, but he carried it out. Maybe if he did not go to work that day, he would of gotten hit by a truck the following day, and his passion would of been reduced. Everybody would of said, "oh, that's a shame!" But dying doing what you're intended to do on Earth makes life so much more fer filling. So, yeah, I think our lives are written in the stars. We do however, have choices to make.

i think that if life is predetermined, what is the point of life with things that do not relate to what you are destined to do? Example: In a movie, the director wants to kill off some random guy. What's the point of knowing about the character if he's going to die anyway? Or, let's say you want to become a doctor so you spend ten years studying, but you fail an exam or something and no one hires you. During those years, business was a back-up plan and suddenly you turn into the richest businessman of the next century. If you were predestined to be a businessman, then what was even the point of studying medicine? These examples may be exagerrated but similar instances do occur in real life, I know it has personally and to my friends and family.

But who knows? I do not know what is there beyond life, so I cannot possibly know if our life really is predestined or not.

Free Will, Character, and Character plus strategy = Success, and then there's

Forgiveness and Turning Your Life Around,

even though you screwed it up...ever heart of those things?
That's what education, experience, earning money and living the good life can do for you. It can bring change and help you to adjust to change............
Some people like "predetermined" because it's an "out" when they didn't make it, or fall and don't want to try again.
So get ahold of yourself, before someone else does!

Perhaps the general outline has been decided upon before you come to Planet Earth to develop and learn to be a better individual. But the opportunities that come our way can be acted upon or not. That's free will. But why go to the trouble of coming to Earth if the lessons that are presented are passed over or denied? Being rich or poor or geographical situations appear less important as the manner in which each life in each situation or location meets opportunity for helping others, reaching out when an opportunity to help someone else presents itself. Of course, there are (thankfully) multiple opportunities presented in one life time, but it all comes back to the same purpose: growing in understanding towards others and acting upon this knowledge. Happiness is that feeling that comes from participating in a passionate activity that we term "work." Happiness comes with and through others in way or another. But selflessness is just one path to realizing that our well being is tied to other people. Always. And then the golden rule kicks in even toward the vulnerable among us, the animals, the old and infirm, the very young. How do we act when no one else is around.......

Predetermined by God? That would mean, that he also planned for us to commit sins. So he won't be punishing anyone for those, then? So, the moment a god would predetermine your life, the whole "God wants to see what we are doing" is pointless. So, that one is contradictory and therefore not useful.
Fate, then? Well, if you want to believe that whatever you do doesn't matter because some "fate" has designed your way of life for you - just go ahead and watch others life their life while you wait for something bigegr to happen than yourself...
How can anything in this world be bigger than you?

If God exists then all events are known and fate has been set in stone but if God does not exist and are men made up inventions like the volcano Gods or mother earth or flying dragons then our destiny depends on what we do in the future. We decide our fate.

The reason is God can see all futures including his own at the instant such a God came into existence unless God cannot see all futures.

Also, Life has no meaning if it is predestined. Example, God talked to Jesus or conversing but then each knew what each will say long long ago. This would make the conversation meaningless or kind of silly. Can you imagine two Gods communicating to each other or one God communicating to oneself when all actions are known trillions and trillions of years before such actions were known?

This is why the ability to see the future makes life meaningless. Existence becomes meaningless. That is why life is precious and meaningful because we cannot see all futures except be able to predict our futures if we do certain things early in life. Like sstudy hard when one is young with it the hard work will pay off with a good future in a capitalistic society even communism embrace.

YES, I have wondered about that before, I do think that life is predetermined, even though we have the right to make any choice we want and good or bad.I think everything happens for a reason.
I don't believe in fortune telling,
