i use to pray for an understanding caring mate, as i had a mate who treated me very badly,so after the divorce i moved away, found a phone number out of the past, just hoping beyond hope the man was not taken or not married, and to my pleasant surprise he had just gotten a divorce himself. so we have been together about 2 years now and all is well and i have a much better life than i use to, have to think my prayers were answered.i really do not believe this was a coincidence at all. i prayed and my prayers were answered. could only have come from god.

Bottom line, I think she may be influenced BUT God will not over ride someone's free will. I have had prayer answered immediatly in my life. I have also been divorced and all the praying I did, did not change the outcome. God gave man free will on this earth.
It is not God's will that people get divorced and we all suffer for our own bad decisions..

When my fahter passed away 15 years ago. I asked for a sign. I got a call from my stepsister and hoped it was a joke. I said, "God, If he is really gone please give me a sign." just then the tv turned on and Its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday from Boys to men was playing on MTV. (remember though this was 1991).

God will answer your prayers...Sometimes when you are in the midst of whatever trial and tribulation you are going through, you will not see his presense in your life...but he is always there....Just remember the "Footprints" poem....
