What is your opinion on children protective service? Do they really try to break up a happy family just because the family flouted some obscure laws written by people who sits around a table and discuss what should the law be?

I work very closely with the local children's services workers, what we refer to here as the Department of Human Resources. Their only goal is to protect children. When a complaint is made, they are required to follow up on it. If they see something during their investigation that raises concerns, they take appropriate action. For example, if it's a house that is so filthy it causes a health risk to the child, they make the parents clean it up, and do periodic checks to ensure it stays clean. If the house stays decently clean, then after a while, the case will be closed out. If the house stays filthy, after a while, the worker will place the child with some other family member until the parents get their act together.

If it is an abuse allegation, they work closely with the police during their investigation. While the investigation is ongoing, for the safety of the child, the child will likely be temporarily removed from the home. If it turns out nothing happened, the child comes home. If it turns out there was abuse, the child will not come home. They cannot leave a child in a situation where it's possible the child is being abused. They can't risk the child's safety by leaving them there.

But every child services worker I have ever seen goes into an investigation hoping that there is nothing going on. The last thing they won't to do is to take a child away from their parents, but sometimes it's necessary to protect the child. Whether people believe it or not, everything is done to protect the children.

Child Protective Services (CPS) is a fraudulent racketeering agency whose primary interest is the federal funding flow. These criminals commit some of the worst human rights atrocities as a government agency that this country has ever known. They destroy children and families with virtual impunity. They profit on the flesh of children and are absolutely heartless savages. The child protection racket is an estimated $23 billion per year industry and some put it at over $200 billion if you include all the colluding private industry built around this scam.

I think it is only when you have a social worker or investigator that care enough to do their job accurately. From personal experience, I don't really have anything good to say about them. The whole system needs a mass reformation, and it also wouldn't hurt for a law to be passed that holds them accountaable when they jump the gun and take a kid without having due cause. When I say due cause, I'm talking about taking lil' Suzie because she told her teacher mommy spanked her, while next door, lil Timmie's dad is snorting cocaine right in front of him and CPS does nothing but investigate twice, then say they can't do anything unless they see proof! They need to not have the immunity or authority they do as well. CPS can be beneficial the most when those things listed above are taken into consideration, until then, my answer would be no, in a lot of situations cps causes more harm than good! A system like cps is needed, but the system like it is now is a joke that keeps getting (funnier!) to say the least!

By federal mandate, children's services is required to attempt to reunite all families that have been seperated based on abuse or neglect. Unfortunately, some people are capable of being parents. Is it good to break up a family-no. But it is far worse to allow a child to be beaten, maimed, starved, or sexually assault on a regular basis. Some children even die at the hands of their "loving" families.

there is not any regulation against spanking, yet there are regulations against how perplexing you spank a newborn. as far as CPS, I actual have seen the stable and undesirable fringe of them. My brother and sister and regulation have accompanied little ones and the distinctive case workers are great and a few of them are in simple terms favourite jerks, They act like they're a CPS agent and that they're a god and can do besides the fact that it incredibly is they might like With my nephew, his mom exchange into abusive and he or she exchange right into a drug addict. He exchange into in basic terms a newborn CPS says OH she has been on the instant for one month, time to deliver the newborn returned. properly the minute she have been given the newborn returned she grew to become abusive and all started her previous drug habit returned up. ONE MONTH SAYS no longer something!! that regulate into so stupid and ridiculous. each and everything has a stable and a undesirable area. I do have self assurance that they do get somewhat out of hand each and every so often and earlier making any form of important determination earlier taking a newborn away or putting him/her returned right into a house, they might desire to accomplish a little further examine

They Believe that They Serve and protect Children

In my experience, they are worthless when they need to be and destroy families that don't need to be destroyed when they actually decide to take action on a situation.

I called Child Protective Services because I had a reason to believe that my fiance was molesting my daughter. We left the home that we were living in and fled to another state. Upon taking my report, the State of NM Child Protective Services dismissed the case, stating the reason as "He is no longer a danger to your child." They failed to forward the case to the state Crimes Against Children unit. I had to call 12 different agencies (a number of times) in order to get them to take a police report and it is "under investigation" which means that it could take up to two years to prosecute. The abuse has been confirmed by three independent PhD level child therapists who all specialize in sexual abuse and have spent time with my daughter while I was out of the room.

My mother is a teacher, on the other hand, and one of her students was taken out of his home because his father spanked him in a restaurant. This family is one of the most stable, loving families that I can think of. The father is a military officer and his career is on the line because of this. I think they misplace their actions and cause a lot more trouble than any good that they provide.

CPS is concerned ONLY with looking into reports of physical, verbal or sexual abuse or neglect. They DO NOT get a fee when they remove a child from his or her home. They are interested only in correcting and resolving the problem, using whatever means are indicated. Parenting classes, counseling, whatever.
