I don't think that I can believe that. That would mean knowing that this life doesn't even matter. It doesn't matter if I kill another person, there really is no punishment. It doesn't matter if I rape or steal, there is no punishment for that. When the body does evil work, so does the soul. The soul is the person, the body is just the outer coating. There has to be a meaning to life. It doesn't make sense to me that there wouldn't be. It doesn't make sense to be to be good just because. Because there has to be a reason to be good! I don't know if I am explaining it right. I guess it is faith. The faith that there is something more. Is it heaven? I don't know. Is it reincarnation? I don't know. But there has to be a meaning. Everything has a meaning and a purpose on this earth, so why wouldn't there be a meaning or a purpose to live and then the afterlife?

To believe there is nothing after death you need to first ask the question what exactly is life? Life itself is not just your body, its something else, its not a material thing, it lives in your body. It exists, but can't be seen. The next time your at a funeral take a good long look at the lifeless body that lies before you and ask where is that person? Something used to make that body move around and now its gone. What is it thats gone? The answer to that question is life is gone. Now were back to the first question, what is Life? I would submit to you that upon pondering such questions, the only answers that make any sense to such questions can be found in the old and new testiments of the Holy Bible. The answers found there are the only anwers that satisfy a heart longing to know the truth.

No-there is something-life after death. How horrible for those who believe that this life on earth now is all there is-that Never will they see those they have loved and who died again-for that too is the Hope of Life after death-it is that fact that keeps us struggling on-that when things get rough we do not give up for we ,who believe, know that the time will come when all illness, hurt, all that is bad-evil, suffering and even death will be no more. That I can think of being somewhere and the instant I think it I am there(time tavel for real) and what I so much look forward to-when the lion and the lamb will lay together in comfort for even the need for animals to kill will be gone The good life is yet to come

We are all just a spiritual being that inhabits a physical vessel in our physical world. When we die, only our physical body dies. Our spirit can remain alive afterwards. However, it depends on your belief now. If you believe that you are only a physical being with heart, hair and blood, then your soul could remain left feeling empty. Emptiess is nothingness.

Therefore, seek your spiritual side. This is not to say to be a Christian, Catholic, or believe in JC. But it is to have a believe that can fill you up with love, joy and happiness that can carry your soul beyond the physical and into the light of God.

This is an experience of pure heaven. Your fears get washed away and all doubts cease to exist. There is only an overpowering feeling of love, warmth and a joy so intense that humans that experience this feeling cry from the feeliing of joy.

I look forward to joining heaven and have no fear of death but look forward to living my life to the fullest!!!

When mortals die, that's it. Still human arrogance to assume otherwise. What gives mortal man the right to think himself divine? Or even worthy of such treasures?

If man was truly spiritual, we would be healing ourselves, and the world. There would be NO WARS. No need for peace treaties. No need for borders or patrols. No terrorist, no creation of weapons of any kind. But mortal man is not god-like. He is far from it.

I predict that in a few million years, or more, we will either go the way of the Dinosaur or we will evolve into something new and travel past our own planet to new worlds. That is if we don't all fall into one of those Super Massive Black Holes I keep hearing we have in our galaxy.

Then again, this could all be a dream.

No, I believe that the choices that we make in this life determine where we will go next, but life won't be over no matter where you go. I am not just talking heaven or hell, there is more than that. Everyone has the potential to become a god or godess. This might sound crazy to you, but it is true. If we know the truth and we deny it, we will go to hell and not be able to dwell with god in the life to come. It is possible, however, to learn of and accept the truth in the next life.

As far as anyone knows, no matter who makes any claim they know one bit more than you do is selling you something. The only way to find out is by dying (and I mean dying, not this I was dead for 2 minutes hogwash). Since no truly dead person has ever come back and been able to make an accurate recount of the experience, there isn't a chance that anyone who says they know is telling you the truth. Waiting to hear from the Jesus people...

There cannot be nothing! Our souls live on perhaps in a different form, not in human form but we do live on in a way. Why else are we put on this earth to begin with? I was in Vietnam during the worst of it in 1968 during the TET Offensive and I saw people die. I would've gone crazy if I didn't believe that their souls lived on somehow.

I think you come to exist in such a way that you are timeless. An entity that--and I can't emphasize this enough--we CANNOT perceive of. We can't know just exactly in what way we'll exist after we die.

And the implications of that statement--that we would exist timelessly--are what open up the questions. How can your conciousness suddenly exist only now with the ability to transcend time? It must mean that in giving up our physical form, we come into a different kind of existence. One with a different purpose. A purpose that we're aware of? I doubt it. We're not currently aware of our purpose, as a human race. So in whatever form we become upon dying, we wouldn't necessarily be aware of our purpose then, either.

Or maybe that's what dying is--realizing what your core fundamental purpose was the entire time during your life, and then getting a new one. who knows.

The body die, but the soul lives on in eternity with GOD.
Notice I did not say that you will come back as something like an animal. Some who believe this, will probably come back as a Jackass. And, there are NO such things as 18 virgins! You only have (one) 1 chance to get it right. Once you're dead, it's all over, and you can't go back.
