My babysitter made up terrible lies about me and my husband and was able to get my new born taken from us and place in her home. it has been 9 days since that happen and since then my child has been placed at her grandparents home until further investigation. dfacs has yet to ask us to do anything but they are aware the babysitter lied and she was so obsessed with my baby she did this for her on benifit and in the meantime has destroyed cseveral other lives can criminal charges be pressed against her for intentionally lying about this also can i get a restraning order to keep her away from me and my entire family my mother which has the baby lives in the same nieghborhood and we dont want her anywhere near our child. the baby is not in custody of dfacs it is just placed in a safe house and i still have all parental rights and say so about where baby goes, does and stays. please help she should not be allowed to get away with this its like kidnapping through dfacs with lies

Sue the baby sitter for slander, unfortunately most state keep children for up to one year. Right now you need a good lawyer.. That child should have never been her custody before the grand parents..
