That's easy. Enemy at the gates. Jar head is based on fictional characters, aside from being too politically correct for me. Enemy at the gates is based on the real life dual between to actual snipers, a russian and a german. the russian sniper, Vassly Zeitzef played by Jude Law, and the germansniper, major Koneig, played by ed harris in ww2.

I thought Enemy at the Gates was better because it showed alot more action scenes especially during the Battle of Stalingrad. Jarhead was about that Marine guy who basically went to war but no one got to shoot anything and everyone seemed disappointed! lol Though Jarhead was an "Ok" movie... I choose Enemy at the Gates!

Enemy at the gate! I got bored when I saw Jarhead, only Jake Gyllenhaal was my motivating force to see the whole movie.

If you like to see people die and live in utterly the crapiest of circumstances then enemy at the gates for you. If you like watching young men goof around and do nothing but train and go through mental anguish then jarhead is for you. Both are good movies.

jarhead was a dumb movie, i mean a really dumb movie. Enemy at the gate is 100 times better.

I loved Jarhead, all my Jarhead friends thought it was on the money accurate.
