I live in the USA, so the very first thing would be: Pay my taxes!
With the remaining $670,000.00.........

I'd shop the world for a bank that would be amazingly stable and would pay a simple 10% per year, and set up a trust fund with $270,000.00, so that, if nothing else, I would have an interest income of $27,000.00 per year for the rest of my life (net after taxes = $24,000.00/year or about $2,000.00/month).

Then I would have $400,000 to apply to my plans, bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!
I would focus on creating a professional pagan/medieval theme-park/ campsite in Northern California at 3000'+ above sea level, making it as earth-friendly as possible.
I would hire programmers to create (a) a 3-D version of the arcade strategy game 'Qixx', (b) a cross between Civilyzation II, Populous, and Streetfighter, (c) an online, inexpensive, neverending, world-conquering Magic:theGathering 'tournment', (d) an Everquest-like online point-of-view game based on Mutants and Masterminds in such a way that those who wished to pay almost nothing would be experiencing a horror game as normal humans, those who wished to pay a medium amount would be experiencing an adventure game as super-powered humans, and those who wished to pay exorbitantly would be experiencing a strategy-builder game as Deities.

I would buy the research necessary to ennable nationwide, easy, inexpensive, passive-solar ethanol production using restaurant wastes for fuel for private vehicles and for semi-trucks.

I'm sure that if I managed to succeed at those goals I would be able to get into poly-amory and other goals that I have, and/or create new goals.

Making contribution to the Fund for buiding the Baha'i Temple in Santiago, Chile.
The Baha'i Temple is not an exclusive place for Baha'i services. It is a social, intellectual and spiritual institution established with the money of the Baha'is for people of all faith and no faith to come to meditate and work on all matters concerning the service of mankind and the worship of God.
