I know this will sound almost like begging but I dont know what to do. Its my first year as a single mother and I am in so much debt. I cant work enough hours to make ends meet and pay day care. New regulations put my in to high of an income braket for day care assistance. I work 65 hours a week at 7.50 an hour, and now I find myself in a place where I dont know how I am going to get my kids any christmas. Ive even thought of asking for donations but I am not like that, it seems my pride is in the way. Even if it wasnt pride I dont have to time to do anything Any one no what I can do

Find a job that pays more than 7.50 an hour.

Find a better job or better manage what you have. Believe me, I know what hard times are. I too am a single mother. I work only part-time right now because production is slow at the plant right now. Honey, I only work 20 hours a week at 8.50 an hour. My check is only $150 each week ($600 a month) and the rent is $425. Not much left for anything else, but I make sacrifices and make sure that the rent and utilities are paid and depend on God for the rest. He hasn't failed me yet. If you just trust and lean on Him, He will supply all your needs. Good Luck and keep Hope Alive.

Whatever you do go back to school and get that degree so you won't have to be in this situation, you'll be making thousands of dollars. They'll just have to understand that mommy does not have it now, or b4 X-mas comes up save up and put a little to the side. Alos, Pray about it , it really workd and go job hunting their is probably a job out there with your name on it.

Best of Luck!!!!!

It doesn't matter about your own pride. This is Christmas and it is about your kids. I know there are organizations who will shop for kids in secret. The keep your name a secret, too. Talk to a few trusted friends and have them find out for you. Try churches and civic organizations.

If your kids are little and in day care, very simple inexpensive gifts will do just fine. Make them yourself. Spend time with them, that is the best gift of all.

Do you have a skill you can turn into profit. Search other ways to make money. Can you go back to school for a trade or something..
