You need to be sure of where you're going after. If you're not you'll be afraid. People who aren't sure of their faith in God or doubt God tend to have severe fear of death.

Perhaps your fear stems not from dying but from not living your life to the fullest. If you live life to the fullest, your fear of death might subside.

It is scarey to think about. We don't want to experience pain, tho not all death is painful. We don't know a lot about the death process. My comfort is my belief in God.

Because death is the one thing you have no control over. Hmmmmm, this also suggests to me that you might have some control issues? Are you a control freak ..hmmm.. are you ?? I think you are.
