My French teacher doesn't teach us how. :(
I try to roll my tongue, but I don't know how to roll my tongue and what I'm supposed to do afterward. Please help!

Take your tongue and cup it under the top of your mouth, from teeth on the left to teeth on the right. PLace the tip of your tongue at the top inside of your front teeth. Make sure you seal the area above your tongue. Next, try and say d-d-d-d-d-d by blowing the d out. Your tongue should automatically flutter. Keep trying to do this over and over till you get it. It will take time to get it right.

It's a rather gutteral sound. As soon as your tongue reaches your palate, your throat should follow through with the sound. It's almost like a 2 syllable motion. Our teacher used to put one sheet of paper in an empty trashcan and make us lean into the can and say "r". If you're producing the right sound, vibrations will result and the paper will rattle.

It is NOT easy but it can be done with PRACTICE.. If you speak Spanish,, the double R is similar.. ONLY with practice
