I love love love wearing sunglasses. I was wondering if it was ok for me to wear them in the winter. My sisters are always making fun of me for wearing them even though it's cold outside. Does it matter?

you need to wear sunglasses always...the sun is harmful to the eyes..sun or not/ you dont want crows
people need to mind their business...sunglasses are the best all year around!

You can wear sunglasses any time the sun is bothering your eyes. Skiers wear them afterall. And the sun can cause damage to your eyes all year long. Tell your sister she doesn't know what she is talking about.

It's probably a good idea because sometimes it seems the winter sun can be especially bright and if it's relfecting on snow, it's really hard on your eyes. Sunglasses are for any season.

actually, skiers and people who work in the outdoors wear sunglasses to eliminate the glare they get from the sun. Also, alpine troops wear darkened goggles while in the field to eliminate snow blindness.

of course. first of all do what you like to do, do whats comfortable. not what you think other people want you to do.
and besides, plenty of people wear sunglasses in the winter, its still sunny!

Yes you can still wear them in the winter. Skiers do, and if you live where it snows it's a good idea to prevent snow-blindness.

No it doesn't matter... the brightest place I've ever seen
was the snow slopes...The sun is bright even during the winter..

you can wear sunglasses anytime you want they are an accesory not soemthign to shield you from the sun or anyhtign

well if its kind dark out and cold put them on your head, but if its sunny i say go ahead and wear 'em cuz no one likes to have the sun in their eyes or at least i dont ,especially when im driving.
