sorry everyone, i just got my first iPod a few days ago so im really just learning how to use it and i was just wondering, how do i get songs off of it once they are in? i tried manually on the ipod but i dont think i can, so im guessing i gotta do something with itunes but if anyone could help me, i would be very thankful

You can't change anything manually on the IPod
Actually, you need to select the songs out of your library and then from it, update your IPod with the newly-checked out songs!

Just choose the song on itunes and hit delete on the keyboard. If that doesnt work, right click and delete it

Right click on the song in your iPod and click on clear. Make sure that this is on the iPod list AND NOT your music database...that is IMPORTANT!

If that doesn't work, go to the support message boards on Apple and they can help you there.

you have too delete it while its connected, right click the song then hit clear then after deleting all the songs you dont want nemore just update your ipod

Plug it into your computer and go to it's drive or removable disk and look through the songs, select the one you want to delete. right click and press delete.

you need to plug it in to your computer and go into itunes and delete the songs by selecting them and then pressing delete

You have to hook it up to your computer and delete the songs with Itunes.
