I like to think that there are other intelligent beings out there somewhere. I also would like to think that they have gotten past all of the juvenile posturing that is so prevalent in out world right now, especally among all of those who "lead" the countries of the world. I would think that perhaps if there is intelligent life they are more of the Star Trek Federation variety than the Alien vs Predator variety. Makes me sick to think that there are other planets full of people who find some perverse, sadistic delight in torturing, raping and pillaging others on their planets to prove that their god is bigger, better, meaner and can beat up all the other gods on the block, like we do here.
If there are aliens who can roam the stars then it would stand to reason that they have lots of gadgets and, I would assume, weapons. I also think that if they have space travel and flew by and got one good look at the way we treat each other they'd put up some sort of bio-hazard warning around our solar system screeching "Beware Of Humans" or something. We have been killing each other for all of recorded history, after all, so who'd want to visit here? They'd get shot at before they had a chance to ring the doorbell.
But any other civilization's technological level could be less than or equal to ours. They could be learning the fine art of cave living and grilling on an open flame.

Check out Carl Sagans Cosmos Series sometime or the book.
Sagan was a confirmed skeptic and I guess you could say he determined the probibility is high that there are/have been more advanced civiizations in just one galaxy alone let alone the vastness of the universe.
Since his series Quantum Physics has opened windows of possibility that faster than light travel is not only possible but probable at a certain level of development.
I would call it likely very likely...
Ret: What level of development will we reach before we parish?
Perhaps We will fit your definition in the future.

You never know... However at the speed of light, it would take an alien spaceship over 3 years to get here from the CLOSEST star system. In order to be able to make travel between different star systems possible (or even economical) then the aliens would have to figure out how to go faster than light by an exponential rate!

Worldy as in this world or another world?
If the former, no. I don't think so. Although the famous Nazca Lines of Peru do act to give one pause. (The Nazca Lines are an engima. No one has proof who built them or why.)
If the latter, mathematical probability (which posits a big ole YES into the debate) aside, how could there not be life elsewhere in this infinity of stars we call our universe? We aren't THAT special, after all.

Yes, I would have to say there are other intelligent beings out there in the universe. Their level of technology will depend on how long they have been around. There are those aliens whose technology is more advanced than ours, less advanced than ours, and at the same development as ours. Those whose technology is more advanced than ours could have more powerful weapons than we have.
I do not think it possible for them to be able to go from galaxy to galaxy. To do that, they would have to be able to travel thousands of times faster than the speed of light. This is just impossible. Nothing can travel faster than light.
They do not have to have bigger brains than us. Their brains can be the same size, but they would just have more advanced technology. If they have all of this technology, I think they would be far too advanced to interfere with other, less advanced beings like ourselves. They would not want to interfere with our development as a species. This being said, we could never come in contact with aliens who have more advanced technology than ourselves. We could never come into contact with aliens who are at the same level of development as ourselves, and we can never come into contact with aliens with less advanced technology than ourselves.

Well, I only know of a few, and the ones I know of engaged in interplanetary travel, not intergalactic, using technology 40,000 years ago which is similar to what we have today, and a bit more (broadcast power, genetic engineering crossing their species with Rampithecus to produce 'workers' that were our ancestors, etc).

Yes there are aliens. We would have to be extremely conceited to think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. UFO have been recorded throughout history. Even the ancient Egyptians had UFOs in their hieroglyphics.

Yes. There are higher intelligence out there. I'm quite sure they are studying use just as we speak. As far as power... They are different from us so they may have technology or special abilities that we may never understand.

in assessment to different living issues, we are meant to enhance good judgment and reasoning; no longer act in basic terms with the help of instinct and conditioning. God gave human beings loose will, which demands making judgements in line with ethics and not in basic terms desires. God meant for people to have the potential to think of at intense tiers to enhance the humanities, technologies, and our governance.
