So are you thinking that by bringing weapons into the school, you're going to prevent violence? I'm just not seeing it.

Disagree. I know there's some crazy kids out there but a kid might see that gun and use it on the teacher and the class. Or the teacher might be a violent crazy person and when he loses his temper he might feel like shooting everyone or threatening people with the gun if they're late for class or cheating.

I can see your point of view, but I have to disagree : (
The teachers might threaten the students with a gun by holding it out and telling them to be quiet. Little actions are a really big influence in a small child's life. That would be the wrong message to send.
And if your talking about high schoolers...think about that. They wouldn't get busted by bringing a gun into school. Heck, they could just borrow the teacher's and shoot everyone.
Maybe you should consider a police officer? Thanks for thinking about their safety though!

Disagree. Where will it all end? Even the teachers back in the early days of the US they did not carry guns to school for protection. We have a bunch of nuts running around and we do not need to add a hysterical teacher or two to add to it.

Definitely disagree because I know it wouldn't have been any bad guys getting shot by the guns handed to some of my old teachers.

Disagree, it's just another weapon for a student to get their hands on. It's too easy to forget to lock the drawer or leave the keys out.

Definately "NO". I think we need to have parents in class rooms teaching their kids respect for teachers and others too.
