The world is in such a chaotic, violent condition because many people have turned their backs on the God of the Holy Bible. He is Creator, Redeemer, Author and Finisher of all things. He is holy and has set forth in the Holy Scriptures the manner in which man should conduct himself. People refuse to adhere to the principles of the holy scriptures, choosing instead to live by their own rules. Today's society is a reflection of the hearts and minds of the people who are a part of it. Political correctness is the norm, which basically means that everyone looks the other way rather than standing up for what is right. The thought process is this: I'll tolerate whatever you want to do so that you will tolerate whatever I want to do. It doesn't matter what the effect of my actions or your actions may be on others. And it doesn't matter to people if their actions offend Holy God. But God predicted that such behavior would happen in the end times, and the good news is that there will be an end to the world as we know it and God will usher in a new heaven and a new earth.

The world is in chaotic/violent condition because we have allowed it to get that way. We are all responsible for each other here in this world. Some of us tend not to give a damn about others. Narrowing it down a bit ... in the poor areas some people have to steal in order to survive because the government doesn't always provide necessary help. People have so much pent up anger now a days cause by social/economic hardships that in turn things get out of hand. Over all we are all responsible for the shape of the world. If we want a peaceful place to live then we must promote peace and do our part ... one person can make a difference.

Your question comes without perspective or comparsion. Violent compared to what, where or when? Where is there Chaos? Certaintly everything is working in systamatic, chain reaction fashion. Compared to previous times in history, such as 1943, the height of World War II, time would be considerably less Violent, even peaceful if your looking at europe. If your speaking of the middle east, then just open a history book to find that the middle east has been racked with more violent periods than they are currently experencing. Your question is too vague but if I was to gander a guess at what answer you are looking for it might be something like "Times have not become more violent, simply more televised".

because most people think that they are separated with the world. But in fact the is no separation in higher point of view. We all (human being, animal, earth, universe) are in fact one system. So it's not strange if a small movement made by an ant can cause big change in universe.. So the world will be more chaotic if we try with our own ego or ambition to fix it or to change. JUST LET IT BE is better. Do without ego or our own motive, and take from universe as little as possible, and be content..
By the way, maybe the world is always perfect. We think it is chaotic, is because our own thinking. The real thing, we can never know. There is possibility that the world is always perfectly chaging, change from one perfectness to another perfectness.

The answer to that question is simple. Human beings! Humans are fundamentally chaotic. We destroy, manipulate and modify everything around us. This all stems from our characteristic curiousity and escalates into selfishness. We generally as a species have no regard for things that no not directly effect us on a personal level. As a result we start wars to gain for our own ends and don't consider the consequences and repercusions for other people. So everybody looks out for themselves while nobody cares for the other person and the idea of community and co-operation breaks down.

Here is my answer; because no one has any respect for one another anymore. The world lives according to the belief of "me". It's all about me and no one else. As long as I am happy than that is what matters. When was the last time someone actually thought about others instead of themselves. It is not about "me", it is about us. I really had hope after 9/11 that we as a society could start to change but sadly tha hasn't happened. Maybe its time people began to think about others instead of themselves. Anyone remember what respect is or how about a nice thank you or please. Until people starting treating each other better, we will continue to live in a world dominated by violence and hatred. Oh another thing, did anyone think that maybe we live in such a violent world because the US is spreading it's values of "me" and only "me" around the world.

Has there ever been a time that such conditions did not exists? To a greater or lesser degree we are incrementally advancing away from the chaotic and violent. Sometimes it is two steps forward and one step back. We may be in the " one step back " period for a while.

The condition of the world is chaotic and violent because of the forces of good and evil at work. When you read the bible, especially the book of Revelations, the current state we are in becomes clear and makes sense. The events in the Middle East make it evident that bible profecy is being fulfilled and Satan is pulling out all stops. On a "local" level, look at what is happening in our country; attacks on Christianity, rampant abortions, homosexuality being forced on us, killings in schools, etc. It will get worse before the end, but the good news is that the forces of good will prevail.

You should check out "Zero Point" by Gregg Braden. He talks of a coming change that is about to happen. It is a very interesting point of view. Many new age authrors are addressing this topic and are coming up with a wide array of answers. I think it has a little to do with the fact that this world is over populated which makes living conditions difficult for many people. This in turns may make people blame their religions. I think the turn away from religion, any religion, has a lot to do with it. Peole need values, and they need to know there is a right and wrong. It seems that a lot of people these days do not. Hopefully it is just a learning curve. I like to listed to "Imagine" by John Lennon. I helps me to have hope, and love for my fellow human race!

I think that the human race can be compared to the life of one human being... we are born, we are infants, we are toddlers/young children, we are teenagers, we are young adults, adults, and finally we are (if we're lucky) seniors.

I believe we, as a human race, are at the "toddler stage". Toddlers are constantly learning new things... they get smarter, more educated with every waking minute... but when they are fascinated with something, they grab onto it without haste... they examine it, run it through some tests, and then once they've exhausted this thing's evey option, they dump it behind them without the slightest thought to the consequence... they don't have much regard for other human beings, except for the ones that feed them, change them, or show some physical attention to them...

I'm not putting down the human race... rather, I'm just observing some similarities which quite honestly, I don't think we have a choice yet to go through the pattern as a society as we do as an individual...

But if I'm right, God help us when we hit puberty :)
