Not as long as we continue thinking that thinking is the output or process of the brain.
Once we start looking at the brain as a kind of 'radio' or thought-access-organ, which receives our thinking {which is done elsewhere}, and that this organ can be 'tuned' by meditation, neurotransmitters, and drugs (tho imperfectly by drugs), and that some thoughts have more powerful real world effects than others, we will have the premises necessary to begin being able to understand the full range of human capacity.

Definitely not... I would think that is some scientific law preventing an a mind from fully understanding itself... We will understand animals minds some day, but to fully understand any organism it takes a higher level organism.
