Physicly and mentaly for me, would have to be distance running in track. you have to have alot of will power and endurace not to stop in a meet and the off season training is prity much maditory if you want to stay in shape. you have to run long long long distances every day for practice.

RUGBY!!!

-obviously, its not a very common high school sport, but we have it at my school in Massachusetts. Very difficult both mentally and physically. There is an impossible number of rules and physically... There is no such thing as an illegal tackle, unless you touch their head... and oh yes-- no pads AT ALL... not even a cup.. any item that is not made of some sort of cloth is prohibited. Tackling is as hard if not harder that football and there are NO pads or helmets!

Its Rugby!!!

How come no one put gymnastics? Hello totally the hardest!! more people get injury's in that then in football and cheerleading!! OK my friend broke her shoulder and my other friend broke his arm!! And i hurt my wist doing a back tuck!! Like in football they have a that padding a stuff right? And in cheerleading sure you do stunts and back flips too but you also CHEER which means you stand on the ground and scream. Well in gymnastics ALL you do is flips. Like round off back hand spings, tucks and hand to hands . Not easy. Oh and don't think i hate cheerleaders or NE thing I use to cheer but it got kinda boring!!

Waterpolo. You have to not only tread water, but then you also have to actually play the game and try to score. Plus, you can get kicked and punched underwater without the refs seeing. Oh yeah, you can drown too. Thats never good.

For me, it's cross country, because I suck at running, especially long-distance. It's gonna be different for everyone because everyone is built differently.
