They're good to look in and check your appearance. When I was a kid, I used to think there was a whole different world on the other side of the mirror due to a Mickey Mouse cartoon I saw (if you know the one I'm talking about then you're right on track).
However, wouldn't it be cool if there were another world on the side of the mirror?

Nothing. Have you heard of Rush's "War Paint"? It says:
"Boys and Girls together
Paint the mirror black
The mirror always lies..."
That is what I've always thought even before the I heard the song. Don't care for mirrors, never will.
