How would you contrast Canadian and American humor (wit)?

Hmmm - possibly in its level of complexity. Americans seem to love humour that is so blatant that any child could get it. Canadians however seem to prefer a more subtle brand of comedy (very similar actually to Australian humour). Personally, most of my favourite comedic films ect. are British - the humour tends to be much darker and often much more subtle than either of the others.
