Like, is it possible for Myspace people and stuff to see it on the Internet and come and find you? How does this work? What happens if you use multiple computers?

Your IP address can be traced through MSN messenger converations, sending files, etc.
They can trace your IP geographically using a website such as Geobytes: http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm
It doesn't differ when you're sharing your Internet connection, as they all use the same IP.

Knowing an IP address will only tell a person what ISP you use and the city that your ISPs hub is located in.
Without a federal court order your ISP can not give out any further infomation.
In short having your IP address will narrow your exact location down to about one in one million people!

Jibber is correct about the IP address. The most common way to trace you is with you Email address. This is why it is very important to protect you Email address as much as possible.

Very easy through myspace. Let me tell you this much. Myspace is packed full of trojans, worms, virus', ect. I can't tell you how many peoples computers I've had to wipe out from visiting myspace just to get rid of the millions of virus' on that site. It's not that hard to track people through an I.P! Word of advice leave that site alone.

Nobody can find you, just by your IP. The best they can do, is find your isp, and then they will need a warrent, to get your physical address. Don't worry about it, unless you have put your address on your my space, or broken a law..

Try this for an eye opener! Go to your mail box. In the upper right corner click on "Options". Click General Preferences. Go to Messages and check "Show all headers" under Headers. Click apply at bottom of page. Now, return to your mailbox and look at any saved or sent mail! Surprise...Surprise!

no they can not trace you through your space asthey are users like you but they may trace you by many ways may be some websites or by sending you files

even using yahoo to email people they can find out your house address if they know how to do it
