I just loved horses and was lucky enough that my parents bought one for me, so I spent most of my time riding and by the time I was a teenager my parents never knew where I was. You can travel quite a distance on horseback in a few hours. The only time it became a problem was when the horse would go home without me. Then by the time I walked home I would get a lecture about using a saddle and wearing a hat for protection. I would then use a saddle for a couple of weeks and then slip back into riding bareback.

Everything! I miss those days, granted i'm not that far away from being a kid. But back then your only worries was going in when the streetlight came on lol. Those were the good days.

Geography. My grandfather had a set of old Geography books. He made me learn the names of the continents. I think this is when my desire to travel to other places was born. I've been to 5 of the 7 continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
