I am having a TERRIBLE TIME with my mouse cursor getting stuck and I cannot move it! Alot of times I cannot even see it at all! Sometimes it is way up at the top of the screen and other times it is not there at all for seconds. It's almost like it has a mind of it's own! What could possibly be causing this and what could I do to stop it?

You can try to remove the ball, and scrape the crud that builds up on the rollers inside. You might just buy a new mouse. This time, get an OPTICAL mouse, which does not have the moving parts that fail.

But I would not get a Wireless Mouse, since you will find it difficult to handle. They are somewhat heavy because of the batteries that are inside the mouse.

Good luck

You could have 2 things:
!.) a problem with program.
2.) you have a hidden spy ware or a hacker.
I suggest you unplug your Internet and do a spy ware check with Ad ware and Spy bot, and your Anti-virus, if nothing shows up and problem still persist, then see a computer tech person to fix it and it going to cost a bit of money. Sorry to hear about the problem and hope it is gets costlessly fixed.

it happens some time..follow these steps...
1- if u ahve Xp then control panel>mouse>butons>primary and secondary option..check this option..it will convert "right" to "left" adn left to right...click apply ..close control panel....Now open again control panel >mouse>buttons>primary and secondary option this time just uncheck this option..apply..ok close...though it seems stupid idea by me..but believe me i works some time,,,
2- but if u have other OS then same control panel and mouse..change right to left and left to right..do all same as above..
3-if u have Wireless mouse then check "Batteries"..but if u have corded mouse then rid the ball out and try to clean space then put it back and close tightly...
4- if not all obove work..then change mouse ..huh...
5- it could also be the cause of heavy graphical card on Win 98 or millenium..past time i was facing this problem when i was using internet..so i just reduced "Graphic Acceleration" to zero..and it worked..u even did not tell us wht OS u r using...u can find this option in win 98 or millenim through//..right click ing my computer>advanced.>Graphics....reduce to zero...huh...im tired...chaoo

Is this in any particular program or web browser...or is it happeneing in any program you use. If its only one specific program, you made need to upgrade it or resinstall or if its a browser try a different one. I have this happen on my Netscape many times so finally I discontinued using it.
