In order to get the proper effect of the Dolby surround sound, you would have to have the seating area in the exact center among all the speakers. So, probably the most difficult part of setting up a home theater system would be in finding enough room to put aside, to fit the chairs/sofas,etc. for the viewers right in the middle.

Being able to read the directions on how to set them up, having the patience of marking the wires BEFORE connecting to make sure that their locations won't blow a circuit, and just being careful.
