Had to print you misinformed and totally incorrect rant to counter some missed FACTS... first off irt was Ronald Reagan that not only taxed unemployment benefits in the 1980's same holds true for taxing of Social Security benefits....Ronnie again... and if you can do so much better than our government at "taking care of yourself" then it stands to reason that you would also be able to make the tax codes work to your advantage like all those other millionaires/billionaires and end up with no tax liability ...Can you read, my argument is with the ARGUMENTS FOR STAYING THE COURSE...not why we became involved in the first place..and speaking on that "stopping a madman from gassing...." was not even reason 1 (WMD's mushroom clouds..) reason 2. to remove the dictator...(couldn't hold water hence ) reason 3. to bring democracy to the regionAll seems kinda funny since Reagan armed the 'dictator' in the first place(and the iranians at the same time as opponents in the same war too) Hey did

see any "whining' about 'going to war anyplace in my question? try reading it again... I fully supported our war in Afghanistan. in fact wondered what took so long to get going..we let the leader of our enemy escape and remain free to this day...to kill thousands of innocents nearly 3,000 American soldiers not counting civilian employees in Iraq..gravely wounding nearly another 20,000 young men and American women in a war WIDELY AGREED upon to be the war of BAD CHOICE...oh and have you checked the situation in Afghanistan lately? resurgence of drug trade and oh yes the TALIBAN...As for being attack free for 5 whole years there were 8 years between TCI and TCII for that matter there were 52years between 12/7/41 and TCI.... who gets to claim the title Protector of America for that? yes don't fight a war your self send other mens sons and daughters...Rummy...Cheney and W... Hey just my personal opinion I respect a guy receiving oral from a MUCH younger woman

Ok OK OK...Last time...Get your facts straight....Social security is taxed because of Al Gore ISSUING THE TIEBREAKING VOTE AS PRESIDENT PRO TEM OF THE SENATE.
WHO WANTS THE TAX CUTS PERMANENT...I DO..OK...I can do alot better job taking care of myself than the governent and I see nothing wrong, illegal or immoral about giving me back more of what I legitmately earn.
Where did you come up with the viet nam argument. We took over from the french when Eisenhower sent in advisors to figure out how to stop the spread of communism. We went to Iraq to stop a madman from gassing his own people and to protect a people victimized by their own ruler. how in gods name is that the same argument.
You werent at nine eleven in manhattan I was. I was at the building when it was hit and saw people dying. It wasnt pleasant but I wasnt whining about why are we going to war. I was infact happy that we had a president that right or wrong didnt wait for a poll answer or LIE TO A FEDERAL GRAND JURY UNDER OATH. and followed his own convictions to successfully avoid any foriegn attack on us soil for the last five years.
NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!
The Democrats, through Al gore...NOT the republicans made unemployment and social security taxed as part of the largest tax increase in us history and later through clinton admitted it was a mistake.
and as for health care, look no farther than Hillary to examine an abrupt plan to hijack over seventy percent of us health care and turn it into a system worse than Canada or England as far as delivering health care.
Bush, not Clinton, came up with the pre tax dollar health care savings plan largely credited with keeping health costs down the last two years.
Im amazed a person of your obvious youth and tree hugging liberal status thinks they have the facts about viet nam together without experiencing it first hand.
Get your facts right first and stop wasting other peoples time.
