I know powerful men are usually rich, but is there more to it, than money?????

Sorry but I find the control with money thing a turn off. Far better is laughter and friendship with a guy. Its far easier to be intimate with someone kind than it is an arsehole with money. xx

Actually, you're fairly close on this one. The real item is control. But all that does when you have it is establish a decent cash flow. The ultimate aphrodisiac is when the other person really loves you so you no longer have to ask for anything.

Because social POWER and being at the top of the social scale is as much associated with survival in evolution (humans are innately social as well as biological creatures and we evolved as such) as are resources associated (money). Those at the top of the social scale or pecking order, in pre historic times got first share of any prey killed, and did not have their offspring killed by the top male. They were safer, and it is not imprinted in our genes through natural selection and evolution to shy away from being at the bottom of the pile and try and associate ourselves with the top of the pile, through achievements and being attracted to powerful figures.

Power is not an aprhodisiac. It's the fact that someone is overpowering you that you just become weak in the knees and are subject to their wants and desires....ooh lah lah.
