this year i wanted passing out candy scary this year any ideas on how to use items around the house

hanging ghouls, pretending to be a dead butler holding a tray of candy, go to spencers, they have teh best halloween decorations. omg try it!

Decorate the yard with white outdoor twinkle lights covered with spider webs(the bags are about $1 each and go along way) you can use chopsticks or garden bamboo to keep the web above the lights. Then toss on some little spiders, at the door make a garbage bag spider (directions below) hang lines of fishing string at all lengths so it feels like web touching them. I have done this before and it was really creepy and well received. Happy Halloween!

Since your on a budget try buying cheap $1 masks from the dollar store and hang them up at random heights.

if its u & your wife,have your wife pass out the candy.& you sit in a chair like your a stuffed zombie or something,then when the kids get close,get up & pretend to attack them. lol
this freaked me out when i was a kid,some guy doing this to me.
but u have to have the lighting so it doesnt show your face too well,otherwise kids will know your a real person.
