Check the plastic pieces around the wheel wells. Sometimes the come loose and flap in the wind. Could also be part of the front bumper, if its loose and hangs low.

Look under the front of the car in the radiator area. There is a heavy rubber deflector under there to seal the area between radiator and bumper (to make more air force through the radiator). There is also another deflector that goes across the front of some cars in the steering /axle area. these frequently come loose and could be flopping in the air under the car! Some cars also have one near the rear bumper area which can do the same thing!
Note: If it was a belt, it would change frequency with engine rpm's, - even if the car were not moving!!
Last of all there are some Seals along between the fender area and the frame ( in engine compartment) -called "dust seals"- these can also come loose and flap, - I am not speaking of BMW only, --but paractically all cars have the same setup! These "flaps" help airflow, and sometimes even increase gas mileage (when all in place)!
Some cars have the "air dams' to Seal" the airflow under the car, - if you have these, make sure they are secure all the way around!
